Hernia repair device
Minnesota Medical Development Inc (MMDI) introduced the Rebound HRD (hernia repair device) for the repair and reinforcement of soft tissue defects with nonabsorbable material. bound HRD is a self-expanding Nitinol frame that can be folded and inserted laparoscopically. Once deployed, the device fully unfurls to its original shape for placement over the defect. MMDI says the Rebound HRD conforms to the anatomy, provides stability, and eliminates the need for anchoring, minimizing postoperative discomfort and the risk of nerve and blood vessel injuries.
